1) Press and hold the push button on either hearing aid for about three seconds. This must be done separately on both hearing aids in order to hear streamed audio in both ears. 2) If you have a ReSound Remote Control 2(optional), simply press the ReSound TV Streamer 2 button. Doing so will briefly show a search icon in the ReSound Remote Control 2 display. Once the hearing aids connect to ReSound TV Streamer 2, a short melody will be played in both ears to confirm the presence of streamed audio and a streaming icon will appear in the display along with an indication of the ReSound TV Streamer 2 you are listening to: ‘A’, ‘B’,’C’ .‘A’, ‘B’,’C’ being fully customizable names set through the fitting software used by your care professional.
1) Press the program button on either hearing aid. This will cancel streaming on the side pressed.
2) With the ReSound Remote Control 2 (optional) you just have to press the 'P- button, located in the center of the keypad. This will return the hearing aids to the last program used. You may also press the Home button to return to your default program 1 settings.
3) If you are using the telephone with ReSound Phone Clip+ or Phone-Now™, streaming of ReSound TV Streamer 2 will be temporarily disrupted. When you have ended your phone call, streaming will resume.
If the streamed signal disappears it can be due to:
1) The hearing aids are out of range of the ReSound TV Streamer 2. Try shortening the distance between the hearing aids and the ReSound TV Streamer 2.
a. You can be up to 7 meter (20 feet) away from the ReSound TV Streamer 2. If you get out of this range but return within range within five minutes the hearing aids will reconnect automatically.
b. If you get out of range and don’t return within five minutes you can reconnect on the hearing aids with a long press (3 seconds) on the pushbutton or by pressing the ReSound TV Streamer 2 button on the optional ReSound Remote Control 2.
2) The cable connecting the ReSound TV Streamer 2 to the audio source is not inserted completely into the ReSound TV Streamer 2. Ensure that all cables are plugged in and the plug is in the wall outlet.
Adjusting the listening volume can be accomplished in a variety of ways. Keep in mind that volume adjustments apply to the streamed signal only, not the volume of normal environmental sounds.
1) Use the '+' and '-' keys on the ReSound TV Streamer 2 to adjust volume to a comfortable level. Make sure that your hearing aids are comfortably adjusted before you change the settings with the volume control. In most cases this adjustment should only be made once, as ReSound TV Streamer 2 is intended as a 'set and forget' type of device.
2) Use the ReSound Remote Control 2(optional) to adjust volume.
3) The volume can in some cases be further adjusted at the signal source, for example by turning the TV itself down. In many cases this will adjust the volume of both streamed audio (transmitted wirelessly to your hearing aids) and non-streamed audio (sounds reaching the hearing aid
microphones in the normal fashion). Of course, this will also affect listening volume for others in the room.
Normally not. To adjust the streamed sound from the TV, Stereo or Computer you can use volume +/- on the ReSound Remote Control 2 (optional).
There is also a volume control on the top of the TV, with black buttons that have a '+' and '-' on them.
If the ReSound TV Streamer 2 is connected to the headphone jack on the TV, Stereo or Computer, adjustments on e.g. the TV remote control may also adjust the volume in the hearing aids.

Troubleshooting
This could be because:
1) The hearing aids are out of range of the Unite TV. Try shortening the distance between the hearing aids and the Unite TV.
2) The cable connecting the Unite TV to the TV-set, Stereo, Computer or other audio sources is not inserted completely into the Unite TV. Ensure that all cables are plugged in and the power plug is plugged into the wall socket.
3) The Unite TV should be positioned vertically for optimal streaming. Check to make sure that the device is positioned in a vertical manner such as in its stand, and not lying flat.
4) The Unite TV may be too close to other electrical devices such as a DVD player or stereo receiver. Check to make sure that it is not sitting on top of an electrical device.
